I'm an Appalachian State University graduate with a degree in Advertising with an emphasis in Graphic Design & Imaging Technology. In the fall I'm start my graduate program in Public Administration with a concentration in Non-Profit Managament.
Hello, my name is Erin Roediger.
I consider myself to be a creative person. Other than that I'm not really sure how exactly I got into advertising and graphic design. It has been an interesting and weird journey getting to where I am today. So I'll spare you all the details and just highlight some key points for you.

Fall 2015 - Spring 2017

In the Spring of 2015 I was hired as a Transfer Student Mentor. Through this job I would go on to be involved with orientation, campus tours, the Office of Transfer services and various other departments on campus.
In the fall of 2014, I transferred to Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina hoping to study graphic design in the art department. However, credit transfer quickly became an issue and I was forced to rethink my major. Other majors considered at this time included: Sociology, art management and interdisciplinary studies. Eventually I chose communications - advertising and things began to settle down.

The summer before my senior year of college I spent three weeks in China adventuring around Beijing, Shanghai, and Hangzhou with the Communication Department's advertising study abroad program. The connections I made with the people on this trip would end up shaping my senior year experience at App State - leading me to explore the field of public relations after hearing the advice from one of the professors.
Study Abroad - Summer 2016

After graduating high school in 2013, I started my freshmen year of college at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. My time there was short, as about halfway through my first semester I realized that UNCW was just not where my story was supposed to take place. However even though my time wasn't the most enjoyable, studying at Wilmington for a year led me to one of the best decisions I've ever made.
